Leah has a B.S. degree in Biology from Old Dominion University and is currently a Ph.D. student at FIU. Before transitioning to a graduate student, she was the lab manager of the Coastal Conservation and Restoration Laboratory. She currently assists with various research projects and is currently focused on the movement of the herbivorous Caribbean King Crab (Maguimithrax spinosissimus) on coral reefs.
