Evan Worden

Ph. D Student

Evan is a doctoral student at FIU, and received his B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of South Florida. While at USF, he took field studies and diving courses to help build his research skills, as well as volunteered in a zooplankton research lab. He also completed an REU at Mote where he looked at snook mariculture and wastewater treatment. His research aims to focus on surveying and restocking the native sponge populations of Biscayne Bay to improve local water quality.
